Now in it's second edition, Lynne's first cookbook was written to accompany her talks, showing the uses which can be made of herbs to enhance our food.

The book includes such recipes as Lynne's famous Lavender Biscuits, the unexpected delight of Cream of Nettle Soup, and the absolutely gorgeous Strawberry and Lemon Verbena Cheesecake shown on the cover.  The book also includes the making of herb pillows and sachets, used for such things as aiding sleep, or protecting clothes from moth.

This has always been a popular item at talks and demonstrations - especially after sampling some of the products!

The cookbook includes more emphasis on the use of wild plants as well as herbs, having been inspired by conversations about them during and after Lynne's talks.

The recipes include stuffed Giant Puffball, this mushroom being regarded as a great delicacy by members of Lynne's family.  The herb-based recipes in the book include her prize-winnning Rosemary and Celeriac Soup, another particular favourite with the family.

As with the first cookbook, the book is divided into chapters dealing with particular courses (or parts of a course) of a meal, showing the great variety of wonderful meals that can be prepared with easily-sourced and local foods.

A5 Perfect bound; pp ; £6.00 plus £1.20 p&p.

After many of her earlier talks, Lynne was asked if there was any sort of handout or notes available with all of the information given in the talk.  From these requests came the inspiration to gather together her extensive knowledge in one place.

The book includes details on the culinary and medicinal uses of the various plants covered, including which parts of the plant should be used, and the magical and mystical uses which have grown up around them over the centuries.

"The Witch's Garden Herbal" presents Lynne's extensive knowledge of the subject in an easy-to-read format, for anyone with an interest in herbs and wild plants.

An essential companion to "The Witch's Garden Herbal", "Remedies From The Witch's Garden" goes into more detail of the simple medicinal preparations that can be made with herbs and wild plants.

The book includes guidance on making simple, traditional remedies (tinctures, oils, ointments and so on) from plants that can be grown in any garden, to ease a wide variety of aches, pains and other problems.

"Remedies From the Witch's Garden" is not intended as a replacement for proper medical diagnosis or advice from a doctor or qualified herbalist.
